About Chip

Rev. Gordon A. (Chip) Brunott is a 1975 graduate of Dallas Theological Seminary.

He has pastored in multiple churches, with his first 15 years helping to found Christ Bible Fellowship of Del Rio, Texas. Located near an Air Force pilot training base, CBF expeienced a high turnover rate as young Air Force pilots would come to train for one year, and then were assigned to other positions, many away from Del Rio. Chip began to understand that what some would consider a liability for the church was actually and opportunity. These young pilots and their families would come to Christ Bible Fellowship, be discipled and then go literally all over the world. What started as a local church plant became a training ground for hundreds of Christians who served in the US AIr Force, taking a stronger faith with them when they left Del RIo.

For the past 25 years, Chip has worked in the Financial Services industry, helping other with investments, insurance and financial planning. Always having an entrepreneurial bent and a love of cars, Chip and his son Chad started Auto Group of Plano, specializing in used cars with great pricing by keeping overhead expenses low.

Chip and his wife Lanette now attend Coppell Bible Fellowship, where they continue to disciple and serve in ministry there. Chip fills the pulpit from time to time as well as teaches adult elective classes.

Chip also founded and continues to serve as the primary teacher for the Pastoral Training Institute of Nicaragua.
